BBENYC follows an Integrated Pest Management protocol (IPM). IPM is an ecosystem-based strategy that focuses on long-term prevention of pests or their damage through a combination of techniques such as: biological control, habitat manipulation, modification of cultural practices, and use of resistant varieties.

When a product is applied, it is always labeled as effective, tested by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS-DEC).
